Hello everyone!!! What an exciting time it has been for us. I will do my best to catch everyone up. I know I have not kept you guys up to date like I said I would so I will be doing my best to give you day to day updates up until Friday. Once Friday hits it is going to be crazy so you will just have to wait until Saturday to find out what all is going on.
First off we would like to thank everyone for their support and they prayers. We feel that there could not be a more blessed couple than ourselves. You all have truly made us feel special, loved, and cared for. Thank you everyone for the cards and the advice you have left on our message board and emails.
Well everyone for the wedding has been completed. The DJ is set. The dress has been perfected (like it needed any work other than for Tanya to put it on). The tuxedos are being prepare. The cake will be made this week... yes the wonderful cheesecake that everyone will get to enjoy. I do not think we told you what flavor(s) there are going to be but... we have to leave some details for mystery. The final preparations for decorations are ready and just waiting for Saturday to come. The Schindler Banquet Hall is preparing as we speak... well is it Saturday at 9:49 pm so they might be getting an early night rest tonight, but tomorrow they are hitting the floors with their toothbrushes and buckets... ok maybe a mop but I like to think otherwise. The chapel is ready. Our vows are being finished. I am moving most of my things over tomorrow after church and just living in a suitcase so to speak for a week. (everyone needs to stop rhyming, I meant it. Anyone want a peanut? - Princess Bride) The music is ready.
We had several wedding showers over the past couple weeks. One I was able to attend and it was an absolute blast. Sherri and Jennifer and so many people worked so hard to make it wonderful and it truly was. It was the best one I have ever been to... well it is my only one but, several people stated the same thing so I think I am safe to say that. We have been blessed by so many people and we would love to thank everyone. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, or whenever they fly, drive, or transport in. Again, thank you to everyone who has made this an amazing process and being so generous and loving.
Please keep my grandmother in your prayers. She recently had surgery on her back and the recovery is a long process. We love her very much and know how hard she is working to get back in shape. We love you grandma.
Love
Tanya and Dave
